Terms
Effective July 29, 2026. By requesting a sign-in link or using BuyerNotes, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
Using BuyerNotes
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of information you provide, and activity performed through your sign-in links. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or link has been compromised.
BuyerNotes provides first-pass acquisition research and organization tools. It does not perform legal, tax, accounting, financing, investment, valuation, or other professional diligence, and it does not recommend that you buy, sell, or pass on a business.
Your materials
You retain ownership of materials you submit. You give BuyerNotes a limited permission to host, copy, parse, analyze, transform, and display those materials only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and to meet legal obligations.
You may submit material only when you have the right to do so. Do not submit unnecessary personal, medical, payment-card, government-identification, or other regulated data. You are responsible for deciding what may be shared with partners, lenders, advisors, or anyone receiving a report link or export.
AI output and evidence
BuyerNotes uses automated and AI-assisted systems and can make mistakes. Output, including summaries, citations, calculations, classifications, and interpretations, may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Evidence labels and citations describe the available support; they do not guarantee that a claim is true or that a source is complete.
You are responsible for reviewing the output and independently checking important information against original source documents and other reliable sources before relying on it. Use qualified advisors before making a transaction decision. Do not use the service as the sole basis for an acquisition, financing, employment, legal, tax, or other consequential decision.
Plans, payments, and cancellation
Prices, included usage, billing frequency, and one-time purchase terms are shown at checkout. Stripe processes payments. Subscriptions continue until canceled through the available billing portal or support workflow, and cancellation applies to future renewals unless the checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise.
Refund, credit, failed-payment, dispute, and unused-entitlement requests are reviewed against the checkout terms, service delivery state, and applicable law. Contact support before filing a payment dispute so the billing owner can investigate. BuyerNotes will not ask you to send full card details.
Acceptable use
You may not break the law; violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, or contractual rights; upload malware; probe or bypass security or usage controls; interfere with other users; misrepresent automated output as verified professional advice; or use the service to make prohibited high-impact decisions about another person.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, BuyerNotes, or the integrity of the service, and will preserve relevant billing or support review where practical.
Service changes and responsibility
The service and third-party sources may change, become unavailable, or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, BuyerNotes is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about refunds, privacy, deletion, service access, or these Terms should be sent to the support contact below.
